PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing information input system improved in convenience and practicality for detecting the position coordinate of a track written by a writing device on the information display plane of a recording medium in every size. SOLUTION: Prescribed two flood means are respectively arranged freely attachably and detachably corresponding to the size of a recording medium P, and the light output value of light flux emitted from a light source is changed on the basis of a distance between these flood means so as to almost match a coordinate instruction area 3 formed from the light flux flooded from the flood means and an information display plane P1 of the recording medium P. Thus, convenience and practicality can be improved for detecting the position coordinate of the track written by a writing device 22 on the information display plane P1 of the recording medium P in every size.
