PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily select a broadcast channel with the necessary minimum limit number of operation times, to reduce the burden of a user and to save a space. SOLUTION: The receiver displays the video of an instructed broadcast channel in received broadcast waves. A channel input means 1 having operation keys 1a to 1j for the respective integers of 0 to 9 as plural integers and receiving the input of a selection number corresponding to the broadcast channel to be selected. A station selection control means 2 which arranges the inputted integer containing even integers in an input order decides the selection number and gives an instruction for selecting the broadcast, channel corresponding to the decided selection number when the even integers as specified integers are inputted among the integers from 0 to 9 at the time of inputting the selection number to the channel input means 1.
