PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power in a portable telephone device or the like by turning off the power of the device at the point of time when communication by means of a call operation is ended when the call is executed within a prescribed time after turning on a power source. SOLUTION: When a call is executed within the prescribed time after turning on the power source, the power source of the portable telephone device or the like is turned off at the point of time when communication by the calling is ended. In the device, each operation by an operating means 11 is given to a user I/F module 21 and a signal for the operation of calling, disconnection or incoming is given from the module 21 to a control part 2. The control part 2 controls each module or the like. A timer circuit 23 is used as the one as a timer Tmon and a timer Toff for controlling the power source switch-on/off of a battery. The timer Tmon is used for judging whether a user utilizes only communication started by calling or not. The timer Toff is used for disconnecting protection. |
