PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device by which the wasteful driving time of a recovered toner carrying means carrying recovered toner by intermittent driving can be eliminated even in the case of consecutive image formation, carriage quality of the recovered toner is improved, the mixing ratio of the recovered toner being carried and used again with respect to new toner becomes constant, so that the quality of an image to be formed is improved. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of the recovered toner carrying means 5 carrying the recovered toner obtained by recovering remaining toner adhering and remaining on an image carrier 1 by a cleaning means 4 after transferring by a transfer means 3 to a developing means 2 as mixed air flow with gas, and an intermittent driving means 6 intermittently driving the means 5 so that recovered toner amount to be inputted to the means 5 becomes a specified amount at a driving interval by which the means 5 is intermittently driven so that the recovered toner is carried as the mixed air flow with the gas after the turning condition of the image carrier 1 is detected. |
