PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate performance values corresponding to different capacities at the same time according an actual request sequence by performing a specific process for a requested object A, setting the level of a virtual cache corresponding to a specific end object, expelling the object, and setting the lower-limit level of the object A. SOLUTION: When the requested object A is p resent in a cache table (S1), new order is determined and the order of objects in the cache tables is updated (S3). The lower-limit table of the object A is read (S4), and for virtual caches above the lower-limit level, it is considered that the object A is hit, thereby calculating the performance value (S5). The end pointer table is searched for the end object in the largest order and the level of a virtual cache is set (S7). An object expelling process is performed (S8) and the lower-limit level of the object A is set (S9).
