PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black liquor recovery boiler capable of preventing the damage of a furnace wall by suppressing the repeated generation of a thermal stress in the furnace wall.SOLUTION: A black liquor recovery boiler 1 for burning a black liquor 10 to recover energy from the black liquor 10 comprises: a furnace 2 that burns the black liquor 10; a furnace wall 3 that is configured to enclose the furnace 2 and arrange water pipes; and a cylindrical wall 5 that is formed into a cylindrical shape and arranged on a bottom part 3b of the furnace wall 3 so that an outer peripheral surface 5c thereof faces a circumferential wall 3a of the furnace wall 3 with a space s therebetween, and has an upper end 5a forming a free end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
