<p>The present invention relates to a telephone system comprising at least a terminal (MSA) used by subscriber A, a terminal (MSB) used by subscriber B, a switching centre (MSCA, MSCB) for setting up a call between subscribers A and B, and connecting means (SCF, SRF) for connecting subscriber A's terminal (MSA) to an audiovisual source (3) when subscriber B is unable to answer.
