In each light emission region, the distance LB, LG, LR between the reflecting surface of the reflecting layer 7 and the reflecting surface in a semi-reflecting layer group 2 is selected so that it becomes a resonating optical path length for the light that is emitted in a light emission region AB, AG, AR. The light emitting layer comprises an organic electroluminescent material and the device may be used in displays, watches, calculators, telephones, computers or camera view finders. |
