SOLUTION: Diabetes is treated by including an extract obtained by extracting leaves of plants belonging to the families Lythraceae and/or Rosaceae with hot water and/or an alcohol and an extract obtained by extracting Sasa albo-marginata with hot water as active ingredients in a dosage from of capsule or the like and taking the active ingredients at the same time by using fish oil, e.g. DHA or the like, as a filler or additive for preparation.
