SUCTION PORT DEVICE FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent a suction control valve from becoming a resistance against a suction air flow by removing a suction control valve from a straight passage for clearing the straight passage. CONSTITUTION:A holder 16 is fixed by screws at the opening end of a fixing hole 19 with a circular section provided on a cylinder head 1, and a valve element 17 is inserted in the fixing hole 19 to take a perfectly-closed position to cross a straight passage 14 for closing and a fully-opened position to move upward from the said position into the fixing hole 19 and retire from the straight passage 14 for opening. This construction permits to prevent the suction valve from becoming the flow resistance against the suction stream for reducing the flow resistance.
