BRIQUETTE OF INSECTICIDE AND FERTILIZER EACH SUBJECT TO CONTROLLED RELEASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a depletionproof/crushproof nutriment/insectiside briquette composition intended for plants and sustainedly releasing both nutriment and biologically active substance. SOLUTION: This briquette composition comprises (a) 50-95 wt.% of sustained release nutriment granules for plants each 0.5-5.0 mm in size, (b) 2-45 wt.% of such insecticide-sorbed granules each 0.5-5.0 mm in size as to sorb (c) 0.1-10.0 wt.% of a liquid insecticide and enable its release to be diminished, and (d) 2-20 wt.% of an adhesive effectively adhering to and coating both the components (a) and (b) and having a solubility of <1 g to 100 g of water. This briquette composition is obtained by pressing in a die the above adhesive-coated granules described above as the components (a) and (b) followed by molding them.
