<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing and deinking a raw material for making paper, by which the raw material can efficiently be sterilized in a short time to kill various bacteria and the deinking treatment can also efficiently be carried out in a short time. SOLUTION: This method for sterilizing and deinking a raw material for making paper comprises feeding a paper raw material 11 such as waste paper into a disintegrator 12, pulping the paper raw material 11 in water by the use of the disintegrator 12, dehydrating the pulped paper raw material 11 in the first cylinder press process 13, feeding the dehydrated and flocked pulp into a kneader process comprising a stress-breaking type deinking device to loose and deink the pulp, transferring the deinked pulp into the first washing process 15 to wash out undissolved ink and residual carbon, dehydrating the left pulp in the second cylinder press process 16, transferring the dehydrated pulp into an ozone-treating process 17 to treat the residual undissolved ink and the residual carbon with the ozone, thus decomposing, separating, deinking and sterilizing the undissolved ink and the residuai carbon, and finally washing the treated pulp in the second washing process 18.</p> |
