PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a granular feeling from deteriorating, and at the same time, improve characteristics such as the strength and the ink absorbency by forming an ink receiving layer containing an amorphous silica, which is provided on a base material, of a lower layer and an upper layer as a surface layer, and at the same time, providing the amorphous silica, which is contained in the upper layer, by a sedimentation method. SOLUTION: In this medium to be recorded, having a base material, and an ink receiving layer containing an amorphous silica, which is provided on the base material, the ink receiving layer is formed of a lower layer and an upper layer as a surface layer, which are laminated from the base material side in order. Also, the amorphous silica, which is contained in the upper layer, is provided by a sedimentation method. Then, an image is formed to the ink-receiving layer 4a on the base material 4b. Then, after cutting the ink receiving layer 4a into a proper size, a member for a transparent film layer formation is laminated from a material layer 5a side for the transparent film formation, to the ink receiving layer 4a, and heat-pressed. Then, the base material 5b is pulled and separated from the transparent film layer 5c, and on the ink receiving layer 4a, an image printed article having the transparent film layer 5a is provided. |
