<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a fuel gas, a liquefied product, and coke by effecting dry distillation in a coke oven as the method for recycling scrap plastics generated in the plastic processing steps and used plastics to be recovered from houses and the like. SOLUTION: Plastics granulated to have an apparent specific gravity of 0.40-0.95 kg/l are subjected to dry distillation in a coke oven. Further, plastics with a reduced mixed ash content are used. As a result, a method for producing high strength, good quality coke with a reduced powdering ratio is provided. Further, by removing the vapor content adhered to the plastics in granulating the plastics, deterioration of the quality of the coke is prevented.</p> |
