PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely feed paper at a high speed without impairing a surface of box-making material paper, by a method wherein a suction opening provided on a peripheral face of a drum is communicated to many communicating holes disposed in an array on a side face of the drum, and many communicating holes are successively communicated by rotation to a communicating hole of a hollow drum provided to one side of the drum. SOLUTION: A narrow width high speed rotation drum 4 for rotatively feeding box-making material paper S by continuously sucking box-making material paper S at a high speed is provided on a paper-feed stand 1. A hollow drum 6 is disposed in an array thereto, the hollow drum is not rotative, an air suction pipe 5 is provided, and one side face 6a of the high speed rotative drum is brought into contact with the one side side face 4a. The high speed rotative drum 4 forms a countersunk groove 7a on all periphery, and suction openings 7b and 7c are brought into contact with each other in an array in the countersunk groove 7a. Respective suction openings 7b and 7c are communicated to many communicating holes 8 by bending, and a single air suction hole 9 is provided to a side face of the hollow drum 6. Consequently, since the communicating hole 8 is communicated to an air suction hole 9 following high speed rotation, the suction openings 7b, 7c feed paper S sheet by sheet by suction with an air.
