PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding drum in which the strength is great, while it has no dictional tendency of bending strength, which is excellent in waterproof to be capable of mechanical winding, which is suited for transportation or storage of a wir-like body or a strip-like body, and which is capable of burning disposal just as it is. SOLUTION: With this winding drun, collar parts 3 (3a, 3b) are respectively provided at both ends of a cylindrical part 2 around which a wire-like body or a strip-like body is to be wound. Then, Reinforced corrugated fibreboards are respectively used as the respective collar parts 3 (3a, 3b). Wooden reinforcing plates 4 (4a, 4b) fitted into the respective end parts of the winding part 2 are locked to the central parts of the inside surface of the collar parts 3 (3a, 3b). In this case, the respective end faces of the winding part 2 are respectively locked to the corresponding collar parts 3 (3a, 3b). The respective inner faces of the respective end parts of the winding part 2 are locked to the peripheral faces of the corresponding reinforcing plates 4 (4a, 4b).
