PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device information processor for a network system which makes registered information match a device state even if a device whose device information is registered to a directory server becomes abnormal due to a power failure, a fault, etc., and becomes unable to update the information registered to the directory server by itself. SOLUTION: This device information processor processes the device information of a network system wherein a directory server 112, various devices 101, 102, 103, 104, and 105, and various computers 111 and 113 are connected by a network 100. In this case, the devices 101 to 105 when registering their device information to the directory server 112 classifies the device information into pieces of information according to the change frequencies and registers them.
