PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the solid solution in a vessel from hitting a thermal liquid- level sensor fitted inside the vessel due to vibration or rocking during transportation, by providing a lid flange or bottom flange of the vessel for transporting the solid solution which comprises the sensor with a plurality of columns which enclose the sensor. SOLUTION: A vessel 1 comprises a vessel body 2 of stainless steel whose inside is mirror finished and a lid 3, with a flange 4 provided at its upper part. The lid 3 is provided with a flange 5 which corresponds to the flange 4 and is mirror finished, and the flange 5 is fitted with a thermal liquid-level sensor 7 and a temperature sensor 8 housed in a protective thin tube 6 of stainless steel. A plurality of metal columns 9, with a stopper 10 provided, for protecting the sensor are so fitted as to enclose the sensor 7. The sensor 7, column 9, and stopper 10 are all mirror finished by their surfaces to prevent occurrence of particles, The column 9 is a cylinder or prism to prevent elution of metal from its surface to a solid solution. It is preferred to be a hollow pipe for reducing heat transfer from outside.
