PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency by inserting a cover into a case body only by adding a force against the elastic forces of restraining pieces to the cover without necessitating any pressurizing force for compressing projecting parts for preventing gutter which are formed inside the case main body to the outer-case direction. SOLUTION: This electric connecting box is provided with a case main body 12 and a cover 13 mounted on this case main body 12. The case main body 12 is provided with restraining safety lugs 17 to be engaged with the cover 13 for preventing the desorption of the cover 13 from the case main body 12, and elastic restraining pieces 16a and 16b for holding the cover 13 at the lower part of the restraining safety lugs 17. Also, a projecting part 18 whose projecting amounts are set so as to be smaller than the projecting amounts of the restraining safety lugs 17 is formed on the side face of the restraining piece 16a at the restraining safety lug 17 side.
