PURPOSE: A recorder for repeatedly or circulatorily recording images and sounds using a semi-conductor memory is provided to make a camera constantly photograph situations to repeatedly or circulatorily store photographed images and sounds in the semi-conductor memory, and to automatically store a pre-situation and an after-situation of time when a sudden happening occurs, so as to reenact the situation on a monitor. CONSTITUTION: A control logic(3) is connected with a signal stream of an existing digital camera circuit, and performs a hardware control, to store or read required screen data and sound data in a RAM in real time. A sound coder-decoder(CODEC)(4) converts an analog signal inputted from a microphone(MIC) into a digital signal, and converts digital data into analog data, then outputs the analog data to a speaker(SP). A micro controller(MCU)(8) is connected to the control logic(3) and controls entire functions of a system by an input of a setup mode(10). A sensor(9) senses when a sudden happening occurs in an exterior.
