摘要 PURPOSE: A moving picture expert group(MPEG) restoring system is provided to efficiently perform an interrupt service routine(ISR) according to a header detecting, so as to simplify a system controlling function and an interfacing function of a CPU and to reduce time for analyzing a header part by the CPU without overlapping a stream of compression data, then to simplify a data memory controlling process of an MPEG decoder to prevent a bottleneck when a data memory is read. CONSTITUTION: A header-control moving picture expert group(MPEG) decoder(32) restores compression data inputted according to a header controlling and an execution of an interrupt service routine(ISR), and outputs the compression data. A CPU block(31) inputs data compressed by an MPEG standard, and transmits the data to the header-control MPEG decoder(32). A data memory(33) temporarily stores the compression data restored by the header-control MPEG decoder(32). The header-control MPEG decoder(32) comprises as follows. A CPU interface relays the compression data. A compression data controller performs functions of analyzing a compression data stream, storing header data, applying an interrupt, controlling a compression data-buffer, and transmitting the header data. An interrupter performs functions of recognizing an interrupt applying signal and generating a start address of the ISR. An interrupt control ROM performs functions of storing the ISR and maintaining a sequence. The compression data-buffer performs functions of recording and reading the compression data. A data decoder reads the compression data stored in the compression data-buffer, and restores the compression data. A display controller performs functions of applying a display data reading, converting a display data form, and controlling a display time. A memory controller performs functions of refreshing, reading the restored data, recording the restored data, and reading the display data. A controller performs functions of controlling the data decoder, analyzing the ISR, and analyzing a header.
