DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LOAD OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling a load of a refrigerator are provided to display the wrong input of power through a display unit when a voltage level of alternating current power is not equal to a reference voltage level and to prevent a damage to a load by feeding power to the load only in case that the voltage level is equal to the reference voltage level. CONSTITUTION: A voltage sensing unit(52) connected to both ends of alternating current power senses a voltage level of the alternating current power. A control unit is connected to an output side of a switching mode power supply unit(51) to receive a direct current. When a voltage level of the sensed current power is equal to a reference voltage, the control unit controls a load drive unit(53) to feed the alternating current power to loads. In case that the voltage level is not equal to the reference voltage level, the control unit controls an action of displaying a wrong input of power. Then, a display unit(55) displays to display a wrong input state that improper alternating current power to the load is fed.
