PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound wave irradiation device capable of lowering the cost, improving operability and quickly, uniformly and effectively performing sound wave treatment to the treatment area of a wide range. SOLUTION: An electro-acoustic transducer 1 is provided with a carrier provided with piezoelectric elements on both sides in a mosaic shape. The trough-like carrier is provided with the shape of vertically cutting off a cylinder, the sound wave irradiation surface 4 of the transducer by that is also aligned with the surface shape of the cylinder and sound waves are radiated in the direction of a focus line 5 and converged on the line. The axis of the piezoelectric element is arranged on the line. The focus line 5 is equivalent to the center axis of the cylinder. The irradiation surface 4 is provided with only one symmetry axis surface where the focus line 5 is positioned.
