PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the free rotation of a screw shaft and a nut element at the revolution of an injection unit. SOLUTION: When an electric motor is operated to rotate a screw shaft 21 in an advance direction, the screw shaft 21 is moved to the left so as to contract with respect to the nut element 23 of which the rotation is stopped by a movable member 26, an assembling bolt 39, a connection rod 27 and a rotation stopping member 24 to allow an injection unit 1 not only to approach a fixed platen but also to bring the nozzle of a heating cylinder into contact with a mold. A pressure spring 28 holds the pressure contact state of the nozzle with the mold. In such a state that the connection rod 27 is separated from the fixed plate to revolve the injection unit 1, the free rotation of the nut element 23 is prevented by the rotation stopping member 24 and, since the resistance of the motor is applied to the screw shaft 21, even if vibration or an impact is applied to the screw shaft or a worker touches the screw shaft, it is prevented that the screw shaft is rotated freely to collapse a predetermined state.
