PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a passage floor as flat as possible with seats being sitted from a passage floor increased relatively, without narrowing seat intervals respectively. SOLUTION: The rear part of a low floor type bus is equipped with a passage floor 17 formed nearly flush with a boarding and alighting step surface formed at a boarding and alighting platform, and a step raised floor 18 provided at a position higher than the floor 17 so as to cover a rear axle 13 continued with the rear part of the floor 17, to provide plural seates 19 on the floors 17 and 18. The seats 19 at the forefront part of the floor 18 are provided so that the foot bottom of a passenger sitting on the seat 19 can reach the floor 17. Any one or two or more of a fuel tank 26, an air tank, or a battery are provided on the lower part of the floor 18 and the front of the axle 13.
