PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject ink ejected from an ejection head of an ink recording device stably, fixing a coloring material sufficiently on the surface of a recording medium such as a paper for capable of forming an image having a sufficient image concentration. SOLUTION: This recording ink is obtained by incorporating (C) a star polymer to a recording ink containing at least (A) a coloring material such as a carbon black and (B) an aqueous medium such as water. The component C is preferably obtained by bonding a molecule to become a nucleus selected from a polyhydric alcohol having >=3 hydroxyl groups (e.g.; 1,3,5- trihydroxybenzene) with linear chain state plural hydrophilic molecular chains (preferably, at least a molecular chain containing ring open-polymerized ethylene oxide). In the ink, it is preferable to incorporate usually in ratios of 0.1-20 wt.% component A and preferably 1-8 wt.% component C. |
