PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure of cooking by comparing an output of a weight sensor with a reference weight after a door is opened or closed, and rewriting the reference weight if a difference of them falls within a predetermined range. SOLUTION: When a material to be cooked is disposed in a cooling container, the container is disposed on a table base 17, a door 12 is closed and a starting operation of cooking is conducted, in the case of oven cooking, burnt hot air of a gas burner 5 is returned to a cooking chamber 3 by an operation of a circulating fan 7. When the cooking is finished, the door 12 is opened, the material is taken out, and the cooking is finished. Then, opening or closing state of the door 12 is detected. That is, after an operation of a leaf spring is stabilized when 3 sec is, for example, elapsed when the door 12 is closed, an output of a weight sensor 23 is compared with a reference weight. If the output of the sensor 23 falls within a tolerance of a preset predetermined range of the reference weight, it is judged that notching is disposed on the base 17, and the output of the sensor 23 is rewritten as the reference weight.
