PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce at low temp. a fine carbon capsule uniform in size and without accompanying other undesirable product by coating the nano-particles to be encapsulated with a graphite layer 3 obtained by transforming carbon nano-particles by mixing the nano-particles of the material to be encapsulated and the nano-particles 2 of carbon and heat-treating the mixture. SOLUTION: The carbon capsule 4 is produced by coating the nano-particles 1 to be encapsulated with a graphite layer 3 obtained by transforming carbon nano-particles 2 by filling the nano-particles 1 of the material to be encapsulated and the nano-particles 2 of the carbon in the holes provided at a graphite rod and applying the heat treatment by applying electron beam in vacuum. Both particle sizes of the nano-particles 1 and 2 are 2-100 nm, and diamond, and the like, are used as the carbon nano-particles 2, and a ferromagnetic body such as Co and Fe is used as the nano-particles 1 to be encapsulated, and the heat treatment is executed in the wide temp. range from 500 deg.C to melting limit temp. (2500 deg.C) of the graphite rod. |
