PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of forming a highly hard coat excellent in water repellency and solvent resistance after cured, by composing the composition from a specified aromatic silicon-containing polymer, a specific organosilane and a curing-accelerating catalyst. SOLUTION: This curable aromatic silicon-containing polymer composition comprises (A) an aromatic silicon-containing polymer which has a hydrolyzable group bonding to silicon atom at each of the both polymer chain ends and further has the main chain expressed by formula I [A is expressed by formula II or the like; B is a 2-6C alkylene; R1 is a (substituted) 1-10C monovalent hydrocarbon residue; R2 is a (substituted) 2-10C divalent hydrocarbon residue or the like; (x) is 1 or more; (y) and (z) are each 0 or more, provided that (Y)+(Z) >=2] in an amount of 100 pts.wt., (B) an organosilane of the formula RfSiX4-f [R is a (substituted) monovalent hydrocarbon residue; X is a hydrolyzable group (for example, dimethylketoxime residue); (f) is 0-2] (for example, methyltrimethoxysilane) in an amount of 0-90 pts.wt., and (C) a curing- accelerating catalyst (for example, dibutyltin diacetate), preferably, in an amount of 0.0001-10 pts.wt.
