PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED chip with the visual characteristics of light emission irregularity hardly recognizable, and with a good yield. SOLUTION: The value obtained by subtracting the average light quantity of the chip entirety from the average light quantity of light emitting pixels in the range of 0.6 mm from both end parts of the chip is in a first predetermined value range with respect to the average light quantity of the chip entirety. The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the average light quantity of the light emitting pixels continuous in the 1 mm width range in the chip is a ratio of a second predetermined value or less with respect to the average light amount of the chip entirety. In the entire range in the chip, the difference of the maximum value and the minimum value in a 0.17 mm range of the average light amount of the light emitting pixels in a 0.09 mm range is a ratio of a third predetermined value or less with respect to the average light quantity of the light emitting pixels in a 1 mm range including a 0.30 mm range formed by taking a 0.09 mm range and further taking a 0.17 mm range.
