PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make quickly and surely graspable the normality/abnormality of copying machines from the management device side which controls the copying machines via public lines. SOLUTION: In this remote control system, copying machines 5 are connected to communication control equipments 4 which are connected to a management device 1 via public lines and an operation detecting device, an alarming means, a sensing means and a notifying means are provided in the management device 1. When the operation detecting means detects that an operation message from the communication control equipment 4 to the management device 1 is interrupted for a prescribed time, the alarming means transmits an interruption alarm to a host machine 8 by an message interruption information from the operation detecting means and whether the message information interruption is caused by the operation abnormality of the communication control equipment/copying machines or by the nonoperation of the copying machines being in normal state is quickly sensed by the communication control equipment 4 and the copying machines 5 related to the message interruption of the sensing means and, thus, the quick dealing with to a message interruption of an operator is made possible by the notification to a service area 3 of the message interruption of the notifying means and highly accurate and efficient operations of an entire system is made possible. |
