<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and flexibly deal with printing requests from a plurality of users by intruding an instructed printing job into the process for successively storing received printing jobs and successively processing the printing jobs, thereby outputting the job. SOLUTION: A printer 202 stores printing jobs received from a host computer 200 in a job storage memory 257 in the order to reception. Then, the printer 202 decides the input state of a change instruction about the stored printing jobs, and when the printer 202 decides that the change instruction is inputted, the printer 202 changes and controls a job execution state so that any of the stored printing job can be intruded into an in-process printing job and outputted. The change instruction is inputted by a job control command from the computer 200. Thus, it is possible to freely change the output order of respective print jobs received from various users with a simple operation instruction so that a print output environment flexibly dealing with a fast printing job request can be constructed.</p> |
