PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor, where the dislocation in lamination caused in a process as well as defects caused from it are suppressed by providing a ruggedress and an adhesive block on a gasket joint surface. SOLUTION: A pair of polarizable electrodes 1 facing each other via a porous separator 4 impregnated with a aqueous or organic electrolyte solution 5 such as sulfuric acid, a light collector 2 contacting a separator which contacts the polarizable electrode by the opposite surface, and a gasket 3 provided around the polarizable electrode, are provided to an electric double-layer capacitor, or a basic cell which is laminated by a plurality of numbers, with a ruggedness provided at the gasket jointed surface. |
