PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process control system that can easily realize multiplexing of the system, can flexibly cope with revision of a system configuration and revision of a layout in an installation and can be operated against a communication fault. SOLUTION: A radio communication network 4 interconnects host processing units 1a, 1b and a PIO station 2. Furthermore, a multiplexed host processing unit 1a transmits a frame including a monitor status to the host processing unit 1b that is an opposite party of multiplexing for a prescribed period to conduct polling. The host processing unit 1b receiving this frame inverts its own status bit and returns the result to the host processing unit 1a. |
