PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve magnetic characteristics, such as maximum energy product, etc., of a bonded magnet, using a magnet material containing a TbCu7 crystal phase as the main phase and the corrosion resistance of the magnet by further increasing the molded-body density of the magnet. SOLUTION: A bonded magnet 1 is manufactured through compression- molding a mixture of a flake-like magnet material, containing a rare earth-iron- nitrogen composition as the main ingredient and a TbCu7 crystal phase as the main phase and having a thickness of less than 200 μm and a binder. The compression-molded body constituting the magnet 1 is set to have a density of 6.0×103 kg/m3 or higher. This bonded magnet can be obtained with high reproducibility, when a pressing pressure is applied plural number of times, pressing pressure is applied while a stamp and a mortar are rotated, or the binder is solidified, while the pressing pressure is applied in the compression- molding process of the mixture of the magnet material and binder. |
