Forced-braking method for magnetically-levitated vehicle

A method for forced braking of a magnetically-levitated vehicle, having a synchronous longitudinal stator-linear drive, at a target stopping point, with a subsequent clutch-slip movement. For braking of the vehicle, all the stator windings in a stopping zone beginning in front of the targeted stopping point, and ending with the end of the clutch-slip movement in the direction of travel, are short-circuited or inter-short-circuited.
