PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsible type heavy object lifting and transporting vehicle capable of being stored compactly when not in use, capable of lifting and moving a load stably even if it is a heavy object when in use, and capable of providing an excellent controllability. SOLUTION: This transporting vehicle is formed so that right and left front wheels 16a and 16b are that right and left front wheels 16a and 16b are always supported at the tips of laterally openable open leg bases 4a and 4b installed at the front of a main body base 3 in parallel with each other through links 5a and 5b, a forwardly tiltable column 8 is installed on the main body base 3 having rear wheels 2a and 2b installed thereon, and a lifting arm 13 moved vertically by a cylinder is installed pivotally on the upper part of the column 8. Then, the lifting arm 13 double-folded up along the column 8 is formed triple- foldable along the open leg bases 4a and 4b by further folding up the column 8.
