PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a back door lock reinforcing portion for a wagon, in which the vibration level due to resonance of back door can be suppressed further. SOLUTION: A structure for a back door lock reinforcing portion for a wagon is provided with a lower back outer panel 1 and lower back inner panel 2 which are welded to have a hollow portion. A lock reinforcing member 13 is welded on the inner surface of a door lock striker 5 fixing portion, which is provided on the lower back inner panel 2, near the periphery of a top face thereof and at the periphery thereof. A pair of leg portions 13c are provided integrally, extending downward from both side ends of the top wall of the lock reinforcing member 13 such that the lock reinforcing member 13 is bulkily protruded. Lower end portions f, g of the leg portions 13c are welded on the inner face of the lower back outer panel 1.
