PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pocket structure that has a large-capacity article storage part free from limitations by the area of the vertical portion of the vehicle interior trim where a pocket opens. SOLUTION: The pocket structure of the vehicular interior trim includes a pocket opening 2 formed in a vertical portion 10 of automobile interior trim 1, and a container-like pocket member 3 of synthetic resin which encloses the pocket opening 2 and whose opening edge is welded to the back of the vertical portion 10. The pocket member 3 is an integral mold of synthetic resin, which consists of a container-like body part 30 of a vertical dimension larger than that of the pocket opening 2 and a cover part 31 which connects to the lower opening edge of the body part 30 via a thin integral hinge 32 and whose vertical dimension is roughly equal to the difference in vertical dimension between the body part 30 and pocket opening 2. The cover part 31 folded up along the integral hinge 32 closes the lower half opening of the body part 30, and the edge of an upper half opening 33 of the body part 30 is welded to that back of the interior trim 1 which encloses the pocket opening 2. |
