PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble such that the surface of a decorative material becomes rough when a protective layer is formed on the surface of the decorative material by using a resin to which inorg. hard particles are added to become inferior to slip properties and the matter coming into contact with the decorative material is damaged or the surface feel of the decorative material becomes bad. SOLUTION: A solid printing layer 12a and a pattern layer 12 are formed on a base material 11 such as paper or a plastic sheet by printing to form a printing sheet 2 and an uncured ionizing radiation curable resin 14a containing a needle-like filler 15 and an amorphous filler 16 is applied to the pattern layer 12 to form a protective layer 13 so that the needle-like filler 15 is oriented in the horizontal direction of the protective layer 13 and the protective layer 13 is irradiated with ionizing radiation 18 to cure the uncured ionizing radiation curable resin 14a to form an abrasion-resistant decorative material 1 wherein the protective layer 13 comprising a cured ionizing radiation curable resin 14b is formed on the surface of the base material.
