PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant polycarbonate capable of providing a polycarbonate molding product having excellent flame retardance while maintaining transparency by adding a perfluoroalkylsulfonate having a specific pH to a polycarbonate. SOLUTION: (A) A polycarbonate is compounded with (B) 0.01-3 wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.3 wt.% based on the component A of a perfluoroalkylsulfonate having pH 5-9 in 5% aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion (negative common logarithm value of hydrogen-ion concentration of aqueous solution, measured value at 25 deg.C, measured by a pH meter) to give the objective flame-retardant polycarbonate. An alkaline(earth)metal perfluoroalkylsulfonate, a quaternary ammonium perfluoroalkylsulfonate, etc., may be cited as the perfluoroalkylsulfonate. The flame-retardant polycarbonate is molded to give a molding product.
