PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a readily disintegrable multilayer paper having large practical strength required as multipack raw paper, especially large tearing strength exhibited when the paper get wet, capable of readily disintegrating, excellent in suitability for recycling and capable of distributing to resource saving and conservation of global environment. SOLUTION: This multilayer paper comprises three or more layers. In the multilayer paper, a pulp material comprises needle-leaved tree and broad-leaved tree and the average fiber length is >=1.5 mm and a fiber having >=3 mm length is contained in an amount of at least 10 wt.% and mixing ratio of the needle- leaved tree is kept to >=50 wt.% and wet paper-strengthening agent contained in each layer is kept to <=0.1 wt.% Thereby, a readily disintegrable multilayer paper having stronger tearing strength than that of slightly disintegrable multilayer paper containing a conventional broad-leaved tree in major amount is obtained. |
