摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the load capacity of a radial magnetic bearing without uselessly enlarging the diameter of a rotary shaft, and easily adjust an axial gap between a thrust magnetic bearing and a flange. SOLUTION: A flanged cylindrical part 23 having a flange part 21 and a cylindrical part 22 is mounted to the end part of a rotary shaft 2 to allow the cylindrical part 22 to face the radial inside face of a radial magnetic bearing 8. Further, the flanged cylindrical part 23 is mounted to the end part of the rotary shaft 2 to allow the flange part 21 to face a thrust magnetic bearing 6 in axial direction in order for the axial position of the flanged cylindrical part 23 to be adjustable.
