PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discard paper chips produced in cutting recording paper together with the operation of inserting and drawing out a paper feed magazine. SOLUTION: A magazine chamber 8 is formed below a cutter 21 of this printer, and this paper feed magazine 11 storing a plurality of thermal sensitive recording paper sheets 20 is mounted therein. A chip storing part 32 is formed on a magazine body 34. Chips 40 cut off by the cutter 21 are dropped on the chip storing part 32 and stacked. When the paper feed magazine 11 is drawn out at the time of supplementing thermal sensitive recording paper sheets 20, chips accumulated in the chip storing part 32 are removed.
