<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a simultaneous telescoping mechanism of a telescoping boom when the length of the telescoping boom is detected or electric cable or hydraulic hose is led from the base part of the boom to the tip part of the boom in an N-stage telescoping boom having the number of boom sections N which is the even number of 4 or more. SOLUTION: A telescoping boom having the number of boom sections N which is the even number of 4 or more comprises a long first support 3 fixed to a base end part 11a of a base end boom section and a second support 4 movable in boom telescoping direction. Then, a first retracting wire rope 5 and a second retracting wire rope 6 are wound on a sheave of the second support 4 so that the second support 4 followably moves in the boom telescoping direction by a telescoping stroke of (N-1)/N when the telescoping boom is telescoped.</p> |
