摘要 PURPOSE: A process of preparing rubber-coated paper for steel roll by coating rubber coating agent on one side of pasteboard is provided. Whereby, the rubber coated-paper can be used instead of conventional roll paper to increase frictional force in an iron mill. CONSTITUTION: Polymer paste is continuously coated on one side of pasteboard with a thickness of 1mm, a rubber coating agent is sprayed on the surface of the sheet and the roll is dried at 40 to 45deg.C. The coating agent comprises 31.55% by weight of natural rubber, 1.6% by weight of zinc oxide, 0.9% by weight of sulfur, 0.4% by weight of stearic acid, 1.3% by weight of fine tar, 0.4% by weight of a vulcanization accelerator, 34.5% by weight of carbon black(HAF), 0.9% by weight of diethylene glycol, 8% by weight of rosin, 8.5% by weight of wax and 9% by weight of vegetable oil.
