Curvature in a reference voltage produced by a switched capacitor band gap reference circuit is compensated by producing a first delta Vbe voltage in a switched capacitor band gap reference circuit by causing first and second currents to flow through a first delta Vbe-generating circuit, applying the first delta Vbe voltage to a first terminal of a first capacitor (C1) having a second terminal coupled to a summing conductor (24) of an operational amplifier (25) producing the reference voltage, producing a second delta Vbe voltage in a curvature compensation circuit by causing third and fourth currents to flow through a second delta Vbe-generating circuit and applying the second delta Vbe voltage to a first terminal of a second capacitor (C4) having a second terminal coupled to the summing conductor (24), the first, second, and third currents being PTAT/R currents.
