PURPOSE: A method for displaying time while cooking a microwave oven is provided to indicate time by controlling a watch key in cooking and to supply convenience. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven for displaying time in cooking comprises a key input unit(1) inputting time displaying function or selecting a menu; a microcomputer(2) controlling entire system according to an input function of the key input unit; a display unit(3) indicating present time in cooking by controlling a watch; an alarm unit(4) generating alarm sound while finishing cooking according to control of the microcomputer; and a load driving unit(5) controlling a lamp by controlling a tray and a magnetron. The alarm unit generates alarm sound while generating malfunction. Thereby, the microwave oven for displaying time in cooking indicates the time by controlling the watch key while cooking.
