Amide compounds of formula (I) are new. R' = H or 1-4C alkyl; A = adamantyl or a mono-, bi-or tri-cyclic radial optionally partially or totally unsaturated, which can contain one or more heteroatoms selected from N,S and O and optionally substituted by OH, alkanoyloxy, primary, secondary or tertiary amino, 1-4C amino alkyl, mono-or di- (1-4C alkyl) amino (1-4C alkyl) halogen, 1-4C alkyl or ti (1-4C alkyl) ammonium (1-4C alkyl); Z = a 1-5C carbon chain optionally containing a double bond or an NR' group; R = H or phenyl; X = O or NR' or is absent; r, m =0-2; B = phenylene or cyclohexylene; Y = OH or amino (1-4C alkyl) optionally interrupted by O; with the proviso that A is fluorenyl only when at the same X is not O and Y is not OH, unless the fluorenyl group is substituted by a tri (1-4C alkyl) ammonium (1-4C alkyl) group. |
