The present invention relates to a plate heat exchanger for transferring of heat between at least a first and a second medium. The plate heat exchanger comprises a first end plate (1), a plurality of intermediate plates (3) and a second end plate (2). The plates (1, 2, 3) are stacked on each other and designed such that they form a plat package, which comprises a first flow channel (5) with inlet and outlet openings (4) for the first medium and a second flow channel (6) with inlet and outlet openings (4) for the second medium. At least the first end plate (1) comprises a collar-shaped portion with an internal surface, which defines such an inlet or outlet opening (4) and may comprise a connection with a connection member (13). The internal surface of the collar-shaped portion (9) has an extension between a curved portion (11) and an ending edge portion (12) and the ending edge portion (12) is located at a shorter perpendicular distance from the second end plate (2) than the curved portion (11). |
